We are so pleased you have found our Reflexology Pages

about reflexologyIt means that through our magazine we can now show you just how powerful the wonderful holistic therapy of Reflexology can be when practiced by a Professional Reflexologist.
You can discover how reflexology may be able to help you, or someone you know, by reading articles from people just like you who have already benefited from treatment.Constantly changing, updating and developing, Reflexology News is the online magazine for everyone interested in reflexology whether a professional, a client or having just stumbled upon our therapy.

We firmly believe that reflexology is the most powerful of complementary therapies and that the benefits of therapy should be shown to as wide an audience as possible. We also believe that reflexology practitioners should have the backing and support that they deserve in what can be a solitary occupation.

Taking these two beliefs and using up to date ideas combined with the latest technology the concept of Reflexology News/Professional Reflexology was developed and launched in the spring of 2010. RN/PR was conceived and is run by a group of reflexologists and tutors who between them have vast experience of the therapy.

Who Are We?

Wendy and Martyn Finke.

wamWendy and Martyn are Principals of the Midlands based Three Shires School of Reflexology.
Before becoming therapists for many years Wendy and Martyn ran their own clothing manufacture and retail company which they describe as 'a really tough school, but a great business tutor'.  Martyn gained his qualifications in  clothing design and manufacture at  the London College of Fashion and Wendy's management skills were developed in her family retail group.

Having first experienced reflexology in 1985 Wendy became fascinated and decided she would like to learn more. Training in a formal sense was not easily available at that time so she worked with books and became initially self taught, treating on a 'friends and family' basis. Following the sale of their business in 1989 Wendy trained fully with an Association of Reflexologists practitioner course at the Phyllis Southam School of Reflexology and opened the Therapy Clinic that she still runs today .

Wendy started teaching in 1992 and her school became accredited by the AoR in 1995. Wendy trained and was joined in practice by her husband Martyn in 1997.

The couple have given over 30,000 treatments to their clients, and taught over 250 people to become professional reflexologists.
